World Information: The world is based on Greek mythology, with Gods, Goddess, Nymphs and various other mythological creatures. The mortal human world is based on Greece, set before the Trojan Wars, and with the period level of technology. Olympus and the Underworld, home to the gods and other peoples, is modern. As well as the internet and other modern technology, it mirrors our modern settings with universities and corporations.
Gods and goddesses are functionally immortal and stop aging at a certain age (it varies) and have gold blood. All gods possess powers of varying strengths and mortals seem to know what area of power gods have, even if the god themselves might not be aware.
The world has a sort of class system, with gods and goddesses set up highest and nymphs, satyrs, dryads, and all the other set below. Even further below are humans, seen as playthings or tools to be used. Just like the myths, the three Kings (Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades) can get away with practically anything and often do.

As a first glance, Persephone comes off as a naive and kind girl who doesn't have much experience with the world outside her bubble. This is completely accurate but hardly all of what makes her who she is. She herself states she might be naive but she's not stupid. With experience, she adapts to the world around her and shows astonishing maturity and not a little anger. She's kind but it's as much a strength as it is a weakness. She's empathetic, not to a supernatural amount, but someone who hates seeing people upset and tends to put their feelings above her own.
Her kindness and empathy for others gets her the friendship of Megara, a fury whose crush on Hades put her at odds with Persephone. She easily makes friends with her classmates, despite the rumors of a dalliance with the dark and foreboding king of the underworld. But it also leads her to give Apollo a second chance after he badmouths Hades. She regrets it when he forces himself upon her and rapes her, badgering her no into a reluctant yes that leaves her blaming herself. She worries about how Artemis would feel and it leads her to various arguments about Apollo's continued presence in their lives, always ending in Persephone shutting up for fear of Artemis' reaction.
It is in response to Apollo that we see hints of someone who might embody that whole 'aren't you tired of being nice? don't you want to go apeshit' mentality. When grabbed for the fourth time in two days, she grips their arm and very politely and with shaking fury explains that people keep grabbing her and she's getting kind of tired of it. It's only when she realizes she's hurting them that she stops. She steals Apollo's lyre and cuts a string every time she's reminded of how he took her peace from her. She wants him to tremble in the same fear that he makes her feel. There's even more hints of it in the unspecified event changed her name from Kore (Maiden) to Persephone (Bringer of Death). It takes a lot of stress or specific circumstances for her fear and need to keep the peace to shift in anger and fury but it's a part of her, a deep part that she's still trying to keep inside.
She's incredibly smart and well aware of how she appears to the world, able to use her cute demeanor to her advantage, deliberately playing it up to make Hades underestimate her in chess. Hades brings out the snark and the flirt in her, a part of her mostly hidden. She's more open to him than most people in her life, telling him parts of her fears, speaking up to him when he crosses her boundaries, even if it's the hardest thing she's done. His genuine interest in her and who she is and what she wants is so intoxicating that she doesn't want to pull away, even when she finds out he's seeing someone. Even that only makes her jealous, makes her want to know the details and if he treats her the same way. Even when she sets boundaries about their burgeoning relationship, she doesn't want to pull away entirely. Someone being interesting in her for more than who she's related to and what she is is the greatest gift she could desire.
Beneath the exterior of smiles and flowers lies someone who has been told what to do her whole life and is tired of it. She wants to be something more than what she's been told to be. Her dreams in canon are very small at this point. Get her own place where no one can tell her what to do. Get her ears pierced. Maybe go on a date. She's longing for a freedom that to discover who she is.

Skills: As goddess of Spring, she, obviously, brings about spring in the mortal world. Included with that is the ability to create flowers, plants, trees and whole forests. Her hair often sprouts vines or flowers, matched to her mood, and grows long during times of stress or emotion. It has moved under her will, though it's unclear if that's just the vines within her hair or her own hair moving. When cut, any unattached hair turns into petals. Her ability to materialize flowers has been used to create a flower crown for Artemis.
More recently in the canon, her powers have become more wide and varied, including the ability to fly and a 'goddess form' (as coined by fandom) that includes a thick covering of leaves and flowers on her shoulders and hips and two long branches that sprout from her back. During this reveal of her more intense form, she caused flowers and trees to come into full bloom all over Olympus.
Her powers in canon are constantly evolving and being revealed, so more may come to light.
Generically as a goddess, she is immortal and possesses gold blood.
